Ideas that don’t work out, options that weren’t chosen, concepts that are discarded when briefs change, pitches that don’t circulate past their first deadline, waste that are part of the print process...
Creative projects always encompass discarded, rejected and unrealised aspects that are forgotten as soon as they outlive their usefulness. Exit Piercing is a compilation of these irrelevant parts and elements into a whole that reveals glimpses into design processes and imagines how these wasted materials and sketches materials and sketches could be recontextualised as resources in this remix and their second life.
The publication came with a link to a set of unused assets that made up the publication, in hopes that these assets could be repurposed and have a new lease of life.
